Everything there is to look up about ORDNA: the user manual and the document recognition reference guide, both in four languages, plus the change log with what each version brought.
User manual
The manual walks you through setting up and everyday use — from the first start through reading in folders and e-mail attachments to correcting an individual document. ORDNA ships with it; here you can also read it beforehand, without installing anything. The German edition is the original; the other three are translations. The PDFs open in a new window.
The ORDNA interface speaks the same four languages. The one it starts in follows the language you chose during installation; you can switch at any time.
Revision history of the manual
What changed in the manual itself — which document version brought which chapters, and when — is kept in a document of its own. The last chapter of every manual links to it.
PDF · 0.2 MB · document version 2.31 · 2026-08-20
It is kept in English only and applies to all four language editions. Not to be confused with the change log further down: that one lists what changed in the program.
Document recognition reference guide
Why did ORDNA file this document in this particular category? The reference guide answers that question for each of the 14 document classes — one chapter per class, plus a table of common borderline cases. ORDNA ships with it (in the menu, right below the user manual); here you can also read it beforehand.
Change log
What each version brought — newest first, with its date. The same list is available inside ORDNA under .
The entries are in English.
Still a question left?
The most common questions are answered on the ORDNA page. For anything else, write to us — please quote the version number shown next to the ORDNA wordmark at the top of the program.
If something goes wrong while you work, there is an easier way: since version 0.36.0 ORDNA prepares the report for you — → Report a problem. The window shows you in full what would go out (version, Windows version, language, model name and how many documents you have — no file names, no folders, no document contents) and then opens your usual e-mail program with that text. The message only leaves your computer when you click Send there.
